Terms of service

1. What Nouvify is

Nouvify (“we”, “us”) is an online service at nouvify.com that turns a photo of a room into AI-generated redesign ideas (“makeovers”) in the style you choose.

2. Who can use it

• You must be at least 16 years old.
• You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email, or with Google. Keep access to your email account secure, because anyone who can read it can sign in to your Nouvify account.
• One person, one free account. Creating extra accounts to get more free makeovers isn’t allowed.

3. Plans, payments and renewals

• Our order process is handled by our online reseller Lemon Squeezy, the merchant of record for all orders. Lemon Squeezy takes the payment, handles sales tax and VAT, sends your receipt, and provides customer service for billing questions. Their terms apply to your purchase.
• Prices are in US dollars. Sales tax or VAT may be added at checkout depending on where you live.
• Paid plans renew automatically every month or every year, depending on what you chose, until you cancel.
• You can cancel at any time with the “Manage subscription” link in your Lemon Squeezy receipt email or from your account. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you’ve paid for, and you won’t be charged again.
• Each plan includes a number of makeovers per billing period. Unused makeovers don’t carry over to the next period.
• Top-up packs (20 extra makeovers) are a one-time purchase, valid for 12 months from purchase. Your plan’s monthly makeovers are used first, then top-up makeovers.
• If we change a plan’s price, we’ll tell you at least 30 days before it applies to your next renewal, and you can cancel before then.

Refunds are covered by our refund policy.

4. Your photos and makeovers

• You keep the rights to the photos you upload and to the makeovers made from them.
• You let us store and process your photos only to create your makeovers and show them to you. We don’t use your photos to train AI models, and we don’t share or publish them.
• Only upload photos you took yourself or have permission to use, of spaces you have the right to photograph.
• Don’t upload photos where people are the main subject, photos of private documents, or anything illegal, hateful, violent or sexual.
• Photos and makeovers are deleted automatically 90 days after you make them. Download anything you want to keep.

5. AI results

Makeovers are AI-generated illustrations to inspire you. They aren’t exact plans, measurements, building advice or product recommendations. The AI can make mistakes, for example by changing a window, a door or the size of the room. Check with a professional before you build, buy or remove anything based on a makeover.

6. How you may use makeovers

• Free plan images carry a small Nouvify watermark.
• On the Free, Starter and Pro plans, makeovers are for personal use: planning your own home and sharing ideas with friends and family, including on social media.
• On the Studio plan you may also use makeovers commercially, for example in property listings, client presentations and marketing.
• If you use a makeover to show a property for sale or rent, label it clearly as virtually staged or AI-generated, as many places require. You’re responsible for following the rules that apply to your listing.

7. Fair use

Don’t:

• use bots, scripts or scraping to access Nouvify, or try to get around the sign-in check or usage limits;
• try to access other people’s accounts or images, or disrupt or overload the service;
• copy, resell or rebrand the service itself.

To keep free makeovers available for everyone, we may limit how many are made per day or from one network. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. If we close a paid account for a reason other than a breach of these terms, we’ll refund the unused part of your plan.

8. Changes and availability

We improve Nouvify often, so features, styles and limits may change. We work to keep the service running, but it may sometimes be slow or unavailable. If we make a change that takes away something important from a paid plan, we’ll tell you first and you can cancel.

9. If Nouvify closes

If we ever shut Nouvify down, we’ll tell you by email at least 30 days before, stop all renewals, and refund the unused part of any prepaid plan and any unused top-up makeovers.

10. Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time from your account page. This cancels any paid plan and permanently deletes your photos and makeovers.

11. Liability

Nouvify is provided “as is”. As far as the law allows, we aren’t responsible for indirect losses or for decisions made based on makeovers, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that can’t be limited by law.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we’ll let you know by email or on the site before it takes effect. Using Nouvify after that means you accept the updated terms.
